Customized Ranch Vacation

TC RANCH is a small ranch that offers HORSEMANSHIP courses combined with a memorable vacation experience in the state of Texas. We plan the program of the courses in a very personalized way, according to the needs of our guests. We only accept a small number of guests at the same time. We speak English, German, Spanish and Catalan. The packages include transportation, meals and accommodation on the ranch, lessons and sightseeing in the area.

Basic program

The courses focus on the relationship between horses and humans.

Course Content:

Basic Ground Work
Round Pen Techniques: General concepts of horse behavior and communication. Modification of behavior as a basis for training.
Riding with confidence: Application of Ground Work to riding.

All courses include theory, groundwork and riding.

Visits:

Apart from courses in Horsemanship, you will have the opportunity to know and enjoy people and places of different cities and villages. You will visit museums, restaurants, stores and other interesting historical areas. The Texas Declaration of Independence was written and signed in Washington County, which is one of the greenest in Texas.

Basic program + Rodeo Special (February 27-March 05, 2020)

Also, one should visit one of the many rodeos that are planned each year such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the largest rodeo in the world (each spring).

Colt Starting Special (February 13-22, 2020)

Colt Starting clinic for people with previous horse experience. Participants will work with colts of different ages and at different stages of training and will learn about different techniques used to work with young horses.

This course is directed at riders and horse owners who have had bad experiences or have fear issues they would like to overcome. The goal of the clinic is to provide the participants with strategies to recover their self-confidence.
